We’ve seen it countless times on-screen; now it’s time for you to breathe life into those moments in your own way. Within a five-minute short, depict a lightsaber battle that embodies those awful moments.
The catch? Much as the Jedi were pursued, hunted, rushed from shelter to shelter, we’re pushing you too. SaberComp 2026 will be a shorter season, with the final submission deadline being October 24th, 2026.
Why? Because we’ve got an incredible year planned for 2027, with our 25th anniversary and Star Wars’ 50th, and nearly the full year will be competition season in one form or another. But before we can celebrate A New Hope, we need to depict the terror that came before.
